Hi! My name is Zach Weller. I have always been passionate about moving through nature, finding joy and meaning in the act of exploration. Over time, this connection has deepened into a drive to test the limits of human endurance. Recently, running has become my obsession—a way to not only challenge my physical capabilities but also to uncover the mental resilience and mindfulness that emerge from pushing beyond comfort zones.

In August 2025, I will embark on my most ambitious journey yet: running 210 miles across Iceland in just four days, averaging 55 miles per day. This challenge is not just about the miles or the stunning landscapes I will traverse; it’s about embracing the profound connection between body, mind, and the natural world. Iceland’s raw, untamed beauty inspires me, and I believe this journey will serve as a metaphor for life’s challenges—teaching us to persevere, adapt, and find meaning in every step.

This project is also a collaboration. Accompanying me will be my good friend, an accomplished filmmaker, known for his work on an Oscar-nominated documentary short. Together, we aim to create a film that captures the essence of this adventure: the breathtaking landscapes, the intense physical and emotional struggles, and the triumphs that come from pushing beyond what seems possible.

Through this endeavor, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own challenges, discover their potential, and cultivate a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.
